No limits MMA fighter EJ won his second professional mma fight last Thursday at the “Battle of the Ballroom”. After dominating Brandon Jinnies (cobra kai) and almost submitting him with an americana in the first round; EJ won with a TKO with ground and pund on the second.

Another great performance by No Limits BJJ team at the GrapplingX tournament in Long Beach today, out of our six fighters, five won: two first places and three seconds (with a moral victory for Chris, who should have got first place but got robed after his opponent verbally tapped just to keep fighting after he let go !!!).
The star of the tournament was Hector “The Real Deal” Carrilo, who won first place in the heavyweight advanced division after beating two great fighters, Mondo and Jaime Fletcher.

Juliano’s Jiu Jitsu Black Belt Ray Elbe wins a fight in Singapore. Here are the details of the fight from his blog:
“ESPN STAR Sports has uploaded my Martial Combat fight against Alan Fenandes on their website. It is not the clean edited version that will be shown on TV in a couple of weeks…but it is something for the fans to be able to watch in the time being.
The end of the fight was a bit strange. After all of the trash talking Alan cited a “Rib Injury” to the ref as I was about to pass his half guard and go into the mount.
When the bout started I refused to touch gloves, and after the “injury” I was upset and started yelling a few choice words at my opponent. Singapore, a culture that puts a ton of value in good sportsmanship and respect felt I was inappropriate in my actions—and did a good job of letting me know as they Boo’d me on the mic after the win.”

Our MMA fighter Nolan “IKEA” Newberry won his first fight last Saturday, at the Adrenaline Fight Club’s show “County Mixed Martial Arts Fight”. To beat his opponent in 28 seconds, IKEA used his wrestling and Jiu Jitsu skills, applying a double leg take down, followed by a back control and a rear naked choke.
