Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Juliano Prado, No Limits Founder and Coach, offers a Jiu Jitsu program that is said to have a significant advantage over most other martial arts. It remains the only single style of fighting that addresses all areas of fighting without the excessive need for cross-training. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu offers solutions for defending against striking attacks while standing and on the ground. In addition, you will learn all methods of grappling attacks. NO LIMITS offers both Gi (training in the traditional kimono) and non-Gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques. The coaches put the emphasis on the sport as “the gentle art”, one that relies on expertly executed moves and not sheer force that will allow the opponent to submit. Students are taught to recognize and honor the “tap out” submission signal while learning how to execute sudden takedowns, locks, chokes, and immobilization. The philosophy behind the art of Jiu Jitsu and how that philosophy can motivate and help develop self-confidence is also explained. Every session helps build the groundwork for advancement and belt promotions in the Brazilian Top Team System.
