His drive was clear and he competed in many championships.

Soon after, Adriano Nasal started to practice Taekwondo. He studied this art for one year.

His next thing would be Muay Thai. He developed himself into this sport for the next 3 years, always studying the techniecs of each of the Martial Arts.

He took a break from martial arts to dedicate his time to his education. After his senior year in high school, he started the business administration course at an University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was working towards his Bachelor degree and also held a part time job at a bank. This lasted 2 years.

His friends introduced him to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Soon he decided to train full time. He realized that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was the kind of martial art for him.

From that day, Adriano Nasal never looked back. He immersed himself in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the Fabricio's Jiu-Jitsu facility, in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro. In 2 years, he recieved his purple belt from Fabricio who was both his friend and instructor. Later, he became a very respected and accomplished instructor of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Thanks to his dedication and outstanding performance, Adriano Nasal took part in a World Championship and a Pan-American one in Orlando, Florida. By that time, he still held a brown belt. Nasal began a close friendship with the 2 times UFC Middleweight champion and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu legend, Murilo Bustamente. Bustamente took Adriano Nasal under his wing. After becoming one of the most winning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Wrestling competitors at Brazilian Top Team, Adriano Nasal was finally awarded by his black belt by his mentor.

At this point, Adriano Nasal opened a facility outside Rio de Janeiro and began training champions himself. During this time, he continued competing and winning some of the most prestigious events in Brazil, such as the Cyclone Cup and the Brazilian Nationals --which he is a 3-time champion.
